Ebay ShmEbay
I finally, FINALLY got the courage to attempt to bid on ebay. FINALLY. After everyone told me how great it was and what fantastic bargains they got. So I looked for cameras (oobviously) and found a real cheap D2x. like omg cheap. After many should I or should I not thoughts, I DID IT! I clicked the ‘place bid’ button. Yay, i was 16 hours closer to my new (totally) ridiculously cheap camera! but of course it all had to end when I received this email from ended@ebay.com
The following is a notice from eBay Trust & Safety regarding:
Item Number – 110070360756
Item Title – Nikon D2X
Our records show that you placed a bid on this item. We removed this item from the Site and cancelled your bid because it appears that the seller’s account has been compromised and used by an unauthorized third party. The seller’s privileges to trade on eBay may be temporarily suspended while we investigate this matter further. Due to privacy concerns we will not be able to share further details related to this seller.
Does this happen often or am I doomed never to use ebay?
some questions stolen from various Sunday paper magazines
In 2006..
All my money went on
my D2X camera
I really admired
Calaisa who managed to get themselves a record deal with Universal by simply not giving up and working so hard for so many years
The shop I couldn’t walk past
Mac in Brown Thomas, since learning so much stuff about makeup application and getting loads of new brushes I just couldn’t help myself…
My biggest achievement
I think my exhibition in BT2 and selling some of my work was nice.
My biggest regret
I actually don’t think I have any. I achieved way more then expected this year.
My fail safe dinner party dish
lasagne
The one place I wanted to visit
Tel Aviv but that didn’t happen. Will have to wait until next year.
My ultimate Sunday was spent
Sleeping in and hanging out with Ian
One phrase I used far too often
Yaysies! and Byesies!
most surprising thing that happened to me
The amount of national press coverage I received this year for various things really surprised me I must say!
ideal night out
going for early bird dinner, then to a gig and then stay for club after
film I loved most
James Bond- Casino Royale. yum.

Sunday morning cure
Couch, duvet, junk food and Corrie omnibus

The Charlatans Simpatico
most memorable photoshoot
The 2 day shoot of Calaisa which I did for Universal. Seeing the album finished was brill.
Funniest photoshoot
at the count of 3, throwing little multicoloured plastic balls at The Bleedin Bleedins while I take the photo, and them trying to keep a straight face. I was actually crying from laughter.
gigs I will always remember
Definitely The Charlatans at The Ambassador and at Oxegen
Maximo Park madness in Limerick

The Things Halloween gig in The Hub
Fun Lovin Criminals tourbus adventures
