THE CAROLE NASH IRISH MOTORBIKE & SCOOTER SHOW
in association with THE SUNDAY WORLD
Presents
THE BABE OF THE YEAR COMPETITION 2009
The Organisers of the Carole Nash Irish Motorbike & Scooter Show today announced a competition to find the top ten of Ireland’s hottest babes and aspiring models to compete live at the RDS Motorbike Show to become BABE OF THE YEAR 2009.
The winner will be signed to the books of Comptons Model Agency, have a professional Portfolio shoot with top photographer LILI FORBERG, a overnight stay in a 4 star Hotel with champagne, Vip status in a top Dublin Club plus photographed and published in The Sunday World on March 8th
Ruth Lemass, event organiser commented “In the last ten years, motorcycling and the biker lifestyle with its custom art and fashion ethos has had a huge impact on general design and a major integration with mainstream living. No longer a marginal hobby, bikes are ultra cool, aspirational lifestyle choices and symbolise the merger of freedom, innovation, cutting edge design and engineering, with eco friendly transport and practicality, Even tattoos that were once stigmatized, have now become radical chic.
We are, therefore, looking for a winner who is of a high standard. She should be smart and sassy, hot and beautiful, with a healthy body shape.
The judges will favor the girl who can not only grace any of the fabulous bikes at the Show and wow all the visitors but also model across a broad spectrum of the Irish modelling scene and be a good ambassador for The Carole Nash Irish Motorbike & Scooter Show and Comptons Model Agency. We expect the title to be hotly contested with the winner being crowned after the girls go head-to-head on stage in the Live Competition Grand Finale on Sunday March 1st in the RDS.
Anyone who wants to enter can visit www.sundayworld.com or entry forms are available in The Sunday World from Sunday18th January until 1st of February.
New also for 2009 is a Lifestyle Fashion Show.
Ruth Lemass added “Some people have the outdated perception that biker fashion is all about black leather and blue denim. Today many of the top manufacturers have a wealth of stylish, chic, attractive clothing, both for bike enthusiasts and non bikers, who like to look cool. Bikers today not only want to be safe when they ride their bikes, they also like to look good. At events like this, they dress to be recognised as bikers but also look smart and fashionable.
The Fashion Show will give our exhibitors a chance to showcase their products directly to the visitors who can get a real idea how the style might look on them.
As well as using male models it will give some of our Babe Of The Year contestants a chance to experience participation in a Live Fashion Spectacular.
We see fashion and lifestyle in the motorcycle industry as a huge growth area and important feature of this and future Shows.”
